I Left My Heart In Tokyo

This is a work I did after my first visit to Tokyo in April 2013. A city I've wanted to travel to for 10 years. And Tokyo delivered on every imaginable level and I've wanted to go back ever since.

This 300 hour drawing is my Tokyo love story.

It started with the merging of several photographs I took, and I kept on drawing my way from street level in Akihabara and upwards to the sky. What I ended up with is my rendition of all the memories and impressions I carry with me from my experiences in this city.

The Drawing is made with black felt pens and colored digitally in Photoshop. The dimensions are 60x100cm/24x40" and I will only be printing and selling 50 of these.
